National Interest Must Come Before Your Selfish Interest, Ndigbo Warns Lawmakers

Ndigbo Cultural Society of Nigeria (NCSN), an Igbo socio-cultural organisation, has warned members of the National Assembly who are threatening to impeach President Goodluck Jonathan, to thread with caution, because national interest must "override their selfish gains" at all times.

The group, in a statement on Tuesday, signed by its national president, Udo Udogaranya, said the proponents of the impeachment threat must remember that, "President Jonathan comes from a bloc that waged war for three years with bare hands against an international conspiracy that backed the Federal Government forces
