My Husband And His PDP-Led Government Are Corrupt - Patience Jonathan

The wife of incumbent President, Patience Jonathan, on monday admitted that the PDP-led federal government is desperate to remain in power for another four years in order to avoid an onslaught from Buhari should he win the March 28 presidential elections.

There has been talk of prominent Nigerians going on self exile should General Buhari become the number one citizen of the country due to his intolerance for corrupt practices. But, with the declaration of Patience Jonathan on Monday, it is becoming glaring that those opposed the presidency of Buhari are very much working round the clock against him being elected.

Patience Jonathan said, "If you vote APC, you will go to prison. How can you jail somebody for 300 years? If you vote PDP and Jonathan, it would be better for you."

While admitting that the Jonathan-led government was corrupt, she equally expressed fears over the possibility of President Jonathan being sent to jail; she added, "I'm not ready to carry food to my husband inside prison oh!"

She took a swipe at the opposition APC and questioned their integrity; she noted, "Since my father was born, they have been around changing from one name to another. Very soon they would answer Ebola. The name can't change you; it is only performance that can change you. If you like change it 100 times."

"What did they forget in Aso rock? If you drink APC, you will die. Nigerian women shine your eyes, don't go for analogue, go for digital. PDP is digital, APC is analogue."
