Aren't They Helping Out? The Agricultural Sector In Nigeria Is Still Largely Untapped - Manufacturers
The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria on Wednesday said that Nigeria was yet to utilise the economic potentials of the agricultural sector, as a alternative source of income generation, despite the dwindling fortune from the production and export of crude oil as the nation's major income generator.
The association made the call during the 28th annual general meeting of its Edo and Delta States branch.
The Chairman of the branch, Mr. Humphrey Masodje, noted that the sector had the capacity to provide up to 60 per cent employment for millions of unemployed Nigerians resident in both urban and rural areas.
