Every Christmas Day Makes Me Sad, Says Geoffrey Oji; But What Are His Reasons?

When Benue State-born Geoffrey Oji won the seventh edition of MTN Project Fame music show few months ago, he knew that his life would automatically experience a turn-around.

And indeed, since then, the young man has been having a ball in the new career he has found himself.

Though still a rookie in the music business, the platform afforded him to be on the same stage with notable international and Nigerian artistes at an event in Lagos recently.

Beaming with smiles as he told Saturday Beats about the show, Geoffrey said, "I felt really good while I was on stage. Oh yes, that was really the first time I would perform for such a crowd. Project Fame was just a competition but this one was meeting the people face to face. This is the real competition. I was just enjoying myself on the stage that night. I just loved the fact that I could sing and people would enjoy. I was so happy with the applause I got and people were excited," he said.
