CHIEF OKOYA THOMAS, A LEADING INDUSTRIALIST -  By Gbenga Daniel.

Late business mogul, Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas has been described as a leading industrialist, thorough gentleman and philanthropist  par excellence.

In his condolence message, the immediate past Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga  Daniel said it was shocking to learn of the death of such a remarkable person who will always be remembered by all friends and acquaintances.

"I have had the honour of meeting him on several occasions and will always cherish the memories of such meetings. Whoever came in contact with him was impressed by his sagacity and business acumen. His constant support contribution to socio-economic development of the country is worthy of note".

"He was a remarkable personality and will always be remembered for his sterling achievements which speak volumes of his creditable performance. He was indeed a source of strength to many other entrepreneurs".

Chief Okoya-Thomas, Daniel stated was also a formidable pillar of sport as attested to by his sponsorship of the Asoju Oba Oba Cup for over four decades.  "His  love for the development of sports in the country is unmatchable. In his demise, Nigerian has lost a great patriot".

"No doubt, his exit closes a glorious chapter in the Nation's commercial realm as the gap left behind by the deceased will be difficult to fill".

"On behalf of my family, I express my heart-felt condolences on this occasion and pray that his departed soul rest in peace and be a driving force to his family".
