Every Registered Voter Will Get PVC To Vote In 2015, Jega Says
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has vowed that it would ensure that every validly registered voter get his/her Permanent Voter Card (PVC) to be able to vote in the 2015 general election.
INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, gave the assurance, adding that the commission had got to a level that it can boldly say that the forthcoming election would be free, fair, credible and transparent, and will be of higher standard than what was achieved in 2011.
He spoke when the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for West and Central Africa, Dr. Mohammed Ibn Chambas, paid him a visit at the commission's head office on Thursday.
